Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What types of therapy do you offer?
We provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families, specializing in complex mental health challenges, relationship struggles, and trauma recovery. Our approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transference-Focused Therapy (TFP), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gestalt Therapy, and Psychoanalysis.

Do you offer in-person sessions?
At this time, all sessions are conducted via secure telehealth. This allows us to provide flexible, accessible care while ensuring confidentiality and comfort. These sessions are conducted through the secure and HIPAA compliant platform. Make sure you are using an up-to-date web browser and are connected to a strong, secured Wi-Fi signal. If you're joining a telehealth session on your phone, connect to Wi-Fi instead of using cellular data, if possible. For the best quality audio and video, your download and upload rates should be 1.5 Mbps or higher. You can check the speed and performance of your internet connection using FAST.com

How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 55 minutes unless otherwise agreed upon. Frequency and duration of treatment depend on your needs and progress, which will be discussed at the start of therapy.

Do you offer crisis services?
We do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing a crisis, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also reach out to local crisis hotlines or mental health services for immediate support.

How do I book a session?
New clients can request an appointment through our online booking system or by reaching out via email. A consultation may be required before scheduling to ensure a good fit.

Do you accept insurance?
We accept some insurance plans in-network and others out-of-network. If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we can provide a superbill or file a courtesy claim on your behalf for possible reimbursement. Please contact us for details on coverage and out-of-network benefits.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA payments. Payments are processed through our secure client portal.
