At Hand in Hand Couples & Family Therapy, we recognize that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each person’s experiences, relationships, and emotional needs are unique, which is why we take a personalized, integrative approach to treatment. By blending evidence-based and depth-oriented modalities, we help clients heal, grow, and create lasting change.
✅ Schema Therapy (ST) – Identify and transform deep-seated beliefs formed in early life to break free from unhealthy patterns.
✅ Ego States Therapy / Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Understand and harmonize different parts of the self to foster healing and inner balance.
✅ Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) – Process and transform emotions to build deeper, more meaningful relationships.
✅ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Reprocess traumatic memories to reduce emotional distress and promote adaptive healing.
✅ Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Develop skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
✅ Brainspotting – A focused treatment method that identifies and processes traumatic memories and emotional distress held in the body.
✅ Hypnosis – Utilize focused attention and suggestion to facilitate relaxation, access inner resources, and promote therapeutic change.
✅ Gestalt Therapy – Focus on present moment awareness, personal responsibility, and the integration of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
By integrating these powerful therapeutic methods, I provide a comprehensive and adaptable approach to support individuals, couples, and families on their healing journey.
Every client begins with a thorough assessment and case conceptualization, allowing us to identify key patterns, underlying challenges, and treatment goals. From there, we create a clear, structured treatment plan—a roadmap for your healing journey—so you know what to expect every step of the way.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II: Complex Trauma (CCTP-II), I bring specialized expertise to addressing complex mental health challenges, trauma recovery, and relational dynamics. I am also a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider, ensuring effective therapy in a virtual setting. Currently, I am actively pursuing certifications in Schema Therapy (for individuals and couples), Ego States Therapy, and EMDR, reflecting my commitment to ongoing learning and providing the most effective care. I receive regular supervision in Schema Therapy and am a member of the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).
My therapeutic style centers on understanding how past experiences influence present emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore your inner world, increase self-awareness, and foster meaningful change. Integrating evidence-based modalities, I aim to help you identify and heal deep-seated patterns that affect your well-being.
I have a deep interest in human behavior, neuroscience, trauma research, and the science of connection. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, engaging in creative arts, a good cup of tea, and finding relaxation in nature, video games, and self-care.
Relationships take work, and healing doesn’t happen alone. No matter where you are in your journey, we're here to help you build deeper connections, find clarity, and create lasting change.
